For competitions, two teams contest at a time having 5 players a side. If you can understand this game well, then you will never dislike this game.

Which one for Gaming? Intel or AMD?
Posted by Shawn in Uncategorized on 10 25th, 2008| | 1 Comment »

The heart of your computer is the processor, or the CPU called as the central processing unit. Choosing it correctly is very important in order to enjoy a good gaming experience. Intel and AMD are the top two brands for manufacturing microprocessors. Well, both are equally good but selection becomes usually confusing due to lots of functionalities. All the upcoming Intel processors are x86 architecture based and also, most of the development platforms are supporting x86 based hardware. Hence people prefer Intel CPUs.

I have tried gaming over AMD CPUs and the experience was great!

Gaming PC requirements
Posted by Shawn in Gaming on 10 23rd, 2008| | 1 Comment »

Playing games on a PC will never be an activity full of fun unless the PC has gaming configuration. The most basic hardware component for a gaming PC is  the graphics card. Requirements of other components are listed below:

1. Processor (with a minimum L2 cache of 4 MB & FSB = 1033 MHz)

2. RAM (2 GB)

3. Video Card (With atleast 256 MB of video memory)

If the PC is built up of components with above mentioned configuration, then the user will have a good gaming experience. Also, Graphics Card that supports DirectX 10 is preferred and those are the latest ones.

Bloggers should constantly work on the promotion of their blog in order to get traffic. The best source of traffic is through search engines, but it takes time to deliver. If you would like to get traffic to your blog as soon as possible, then you have to think of spending some more money exclusively for gaining traffic.

The promotion techniques include PPC advertising, banner advertising, etc. To kick start visitors to your site you should start off with PPC advertising.

My gaming addiction
Posted by Shawn in Gaming on 10 19th, 2008| | No Comments »

The most pleasurable activity for me is gaming. I just love to play games. It all started when I was a kid and my dad gifted me a Super NSE video game console for my 8th birthday. I utilized that console to the fullest extent and was busy with it all the time. I used to try different games over different cartridges.

This addiction has today turned into professional gaming. I play for various gaming competitions in the US and I believe it is the only thing which gets me unlimited joy.

Building links for your website or a blog is very important as it is the most basic step to SEO your website/blog. As mentioned in the previous post, because submitting my blog to directories to a number of directories takes a lot of time, I had decided to give this job to someone else. The services are affordable which are being offered by people at various webmaster forums. I will opt for a service soon.

Mostly, I would prefer going for directory submissions and article submissions. These backlinks are very strong and search engines just love directory sites!

The most basic use of internet is to send and receive emails. There are plenty of service provider options to chose from. People usually get confused between which service to go for. Below are the best email services according to me, I have used them and I had no problems.

Windows Live Hotmail

Yahoo Mail

Gmail

Fastmail.fm

Inbox.com

When you want to go for a service, you should first have a look at the storage space, and also features like POP3 and IMAP support.
